GST established IIoT subsidiary company... promoting original smart factory operation device and SW development

Smart Factory supplier GSTI (CEO Jun-cheol Oh) is strengthening its smart factory building business using the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).

GST announced on the 7th that it established its own IIoT subsidiary company 'ITF' to develop IIoT hardware (HW) and software (SW), which are key devices for smart factory construction.

GST plans to procure automation control device and related SW necessary for smart factory construction and operation in ITF and use it in smart factory construction business. Last year, ITF decided to upgrade and sell the smart factory device 'GIOT 1605' for IIoT-based machine tools.

The GIOT 1605 is a replacement for industrial computers in smart factories. When operating machine tools such as grinding machines and drilling machines, it is possible to precisely monitor the whole process and detailed operation of machine tools from the receipt of parts to processing and shipping on behalf of the computer.

It has been developed as a product that can optimize the construction of smart factories of small and medium-sized enterprises using machine tools, but its usefulness is known to general manufacturers and it has sold more than 400 units.

GST is a smart factory supply company that provides smart factory building and operation solutions to small and medium sized manufacturers. Smart Factory Demand company's products, production scale, automation level, mid- and long-term plan are identified in advance, and on-site customized smart factory will be established accordingly.

Last year, the company developed its own 'cloud-based smart factory system' that combines cloud technology with smart factory. It is a system that lowers security risks and improves data collection and utilization of smart factories of small and medium-sized manufacturers.
