The Korea Industrial Intelligence Association (KOIIA, Chairman Kim Tae-hwan) established the Busan Gyeongnam Branch of the association on the 26th to convert digital and accelerate industrial intelligence of companies in Busan and Gyeongnam.

The event, which was held at the headquarters of GST Busan, was attended by local member companies and officials.

Kim Tae-hwan, chairman of the Korea Industrial Intelligence Association, expected, "The establishment of the KOIIA Busan Gyeongnam Branch will lead the digital transformation of local companies and serve as a stepping stone for coexistence through rapid and accurate information delivery, education, support, and collaboration."

Busan Gyeongnam region is connected to innovative clusters leading the 4th industrial revolution, including shipbuilding, marine, plants, defense, aviation, auto parts manufacturing, Pusan National University, Pusan National University, and Polytechnic University, said Oh Joon-chul.

GST is a leading company in the establishment of an integrated smart factory operation system in Busan and Gyeongnam, which has expertise in cloud-based integrated operation system, IIoT, and intelligent big data analysis.

Meanwhile, the Korea Industrial Intelligence Association operates an industrial digital transformation solidarity that plans R&D tasks to promote digital transformation of 10 industries such as distribution logistics, future cars, home appliances, electronics, healthcare, shipbuilding, roots, steel, textiles, chemicals, energy, machinery and robots.
