GST, a smart factory supplier, will leap into a "smart factory advancement company." From smart factory construction solutions and equipment to cloud-based integrated operation systems, it recently developed its own and completed a comprehensive support system from the initial construction of smart factories to the advancement of smart factories.
GST (CEO Oh Joon-Cheol) announced on the 1st that it will promote revival precision, WSG, and three friendly companies and smart factories in the Smart Factory Advancement 2 Project organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Smart Manufacturing Innovation Promotion Group.
Smart Factory Advancement 2 is a project that supports the establishment of a high-level smart factory system that can optimize processes as well as automatically control by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), virtual physical integration (CPS), ultra-precision sensors, and robots. As the first project to start this year, the Smart Manufacturing Innovation Promotion Team recently selected 30 companies through a nationwide public offering.
GST is the only smart factory supplier to support the upgrading of three companies.
It is going to upgrade its revival precision and battery pack production line. Revival Precision has recently set up an electric vehicle battery pack as a new business and is pitching electricity, focusing on defense parts and precision parts for machinery and automobiles.

It will advance the integrated control of the production and quality control of more than 100 kinds of products in Dajeong. Dajeong is a representative ginseng red ginseng product company. GMP and HACCP were acquired through continuous facility investment, and through this project, the level of smart factories will also undergo digital transformation in the second stage of advancement.
It will upgrade the production line of ultra-high purity piping systems used in pharmaceuticals with WSG, Semiconductor, Bio.
The three companies are small and medium-sized enterprises with sales of 10 billion to 30 billion won. This Advanced 2 project, will build high-tech smart factories comparable to mid-sized companies and large companies and double its global competitiveness.

With the Internet of Things (IIoT) device, it automatically extracts and DBs big data information on the production and management of companies that build smart factories. Cloud-based IDC was also built on its own, and based on this, it has developed an integrated smart factory operation system and is providing it as a platform to support the spread of smart factories in local governments.
